Malawi, a signatory has an obligation to report progress on implementation of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety.  Over the years, Malawi has been submitting the reports to the CBD through the BCH. The Fourth National Report is the latest to be submitted. The report gives information on stakeholder engagement, capacity needs and effectiveness of measures undertaken to contribute to effective regulation of genetically modified organisms.
